Gallery: Tranche 1 Induction Day a big success
The Innovation Launchpad Network’s first ever Induction Day took place on Wednesday 19th July 2023 and kick-started the Researcher in Residence community.
Successful applicants were invited to a venue in Birmingham to meet fellow academics, the Innovation Launchpad management team and Catapult representatives in person. The researchers were challenged to create a PechaKucha-style presentation which summarised their research proposal, offering a unique insight into these projects.
The afternoon saw a ‘community rules’ session, followed by a panel discussion from previous Researchers in Residence Professor Nick Warrior and Professor Li Ran, as well as Rebecca Wilkes from Energy Systems Catapult and Rebecca Quinn from Satellite Applications Catapult.
