After completing her A-levels, Joella worked in the legal sector for six years in respect to both commercial and road traffic accident litigation. Starting off as a trainee paralegal, she worked her way up to a Litigation Executive at 22 years old. During her time in litigation, she also launched her own online cosmetic business in 2020 with a £20K investment through pitching her concept to angel investors.
As Network Officer, Joella will be supporting the Network Manager (Kristina Parry) ensuring the operational administration of the Network+ activities and establishing and engineering all aspects of the Network’s day to day operations. Joella is responsible for tracking the Network’s spending, organising meetings for the Network’s various groups, as well as being responsible for the organisation and planning of external events.
