Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult
For future projects, the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult are looking at the following:
- Allogeneic (iPSC) cell therapy and AAV gene therapy development and manufacturing
- Novel approaches for AAV viral vector production
- Engineering biology approaches to ATMP development (e.g. iPSC differentiation, viral vector production, cell line optimisation)
- Next generation analytics for ATMP manufacturing – multi-omics expertise to maximise AAV data mining
- Novel process analytical technologies (e.g. in-process monitoring)
- Technologies for improved bioprocess control/scalability
- Digitisation, automation, digital twins in ATMP manufacturing
- Sustainability approaches to ATMP manufacturing (e.g. reducing carbon footprint)
- ATMP formulation and fill/finish
